Richard Desarmes founded ConnectedMD after having spent 20+ years running software development teams for startups in Silicon Valley and Atlanta.

As Director of Search & Analytics at Broad Daylight Software (now Oracle), Richard built a sophisticated NLP engine that won several industry awards. Looking for his next executive challenge, Richard joined the American Cancer Society where he built a mobile medication adherence system as well as a HealthVault-based platform for sharing medical history.

Most recently Richard founded a consulting firm where he served as Technical Advisor to midsize and large corporations. In that capacity he laid out technology vision and implementation for a health insurance platform that delivers personalized recommendations and rewards for physical activities based on the members’ medical and social profiles.

Richard received his BS degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University and dual MBA degrees from Columbia University and UC Berkeley.

David has over 25 years of successful healthcare industry corporate experience, with a focus on sales, marketing and corporate management in healthcare software companies that help both providers and payors deliver outstanding, cost-effective care to patients.  He was Director of the Healthcare vertical markets for BellSouth for 10 years, and has worked for Baxter, MDdatacor, Landacorp, MEDecision and other high tech software firms.

David holds seven US Patents for telecommunication network design for healthcare and is a recognized subject matter expert in the interactions within the healthcare industry, from care provision, to claims/financial management, to sales, marketing and implementation/client services operations for healthcare technology firms.

David earned a BS in Business Administration from the University of Tampa, and is a member of MENSA.

Manuel Saint-Victor, MD joins ConnectedMD after having spent a decade of experience in software engineering. As a developer at EyeWonder in 2006, Manuel conceptualized and was the lead developer of the award-winning AdWonder ad management platform. He developed applications while at WebMD in 2009 that facilitated consumer access to health information and medical experts. He has developed lottery games and video games while bringing his psychology expertise to Scientific Games International to improve user engagement and loyalty.

Most recently, Manuel co-founded Mindful360 where he serves as the Chief Neuroscientist. In that capacity he has coached physicians about the importance of mindfulness, self-awareness and purpose-driven decision-making.

Manuel has a BA in Biology from Harvard University and MD degree from UNC Chapel Hill. He aspires to teach doctors to communicate with their patients more effectively and deliver more effective care through developing a more holistic but still data-driven understanding of their patients.

Mr. Adam Pellegrini has been Vice President of Digital Health at Fitbit Inc. since September 6, 2016. Adam is responsible for leading Fitbit’s vision, strategies and programs to further drive its integration into healthcare systems around the world. He harnesses the power of Fitbit’s products, software and services to help create better clinical health outcomes while identifying new revenue opportunities for Fitbit, building on the momentum Fitbit has held to date with disease management, insurance, and wellness programs.

Adam is a digital health and marketing executive with over 20 years of experience in healthcare and online marketing. He served as Vice President of Digital Health at Walgreens. At Walgreens, Adam was leading a team of seasoned industry executives to build out the next generation of digital and mHealth platforms for the retail pharmacy chain. He was responsible for revolutionizing how the global chain approached omni-channel digital healthcare, including advancing its integration with wearables, launching telemedicine and advancing their core digital pharmacy platforms. He served as Director of Marketing and Online Strategy at MyTelehealth Solutions, LLC (known as HealthyCircles) and worked with a team of seasoned industry executives to build out the next generation of telemedicine platforms. Prior to HealthyCircles, he worked as a Product Manager at Microsoft, where he launched a successful health dashboard on MSN and worked on the HealthVault product.

Mr. Pellegrini holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Political Science.

Supreet is an experienced C level executive with a rare balance of expertise in information technology, finance and operations across new ventures, turnarounds and M&A. He has worked globally in product sales & strategy, innovation and development as well as in operational and technology roles in startups and large corporations.

He is currently a board member of a Private Equity fund and a number of Silicon Valley startups (Big Data, Mobile, Internet of things); helping with funding, go-to-market strategies, IT and operations. He teaches executives to build nimble innovative learning organizations by integrating Design Thinking with the Theory of Constraints.

Supreet has served in executive leadership roles at KPMG, Altera, OHL, CA Technologies, and Quantum Ventures. He obtained a BS degree from University of Houson and joint MBA degress from NYU, HEC School of Management, and London School of Economics.

Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Mehta has been practicing medicine since 2005. He is committed to delivering and coordinating the best quality and efficient care for patients – a premium healthcare experience. Dr. Tejas Mehta earned his Bachelor of Arts from Johns Hopkins University and his M.D. from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia.

Dr. Mehta spends his free time pursuing his enthusiasm for technology and relaxing with his wife and two children.
